Omsk State Medical University and Belarusian State Medical University: Dentistry without Borders

 
Every year, Omsk State Medical University hosts numerous professional meetings with international participation, and March 2022 was no exception.
 
As part of the agreement on scientific and academic cooperation between Belarusian State Medical University (Department of Conservative Dentistry) and Omsk State Medical University (Department of Preventive Dentistry), the first online international academic mobility program 2022 was held.
 
A top-notch event was brought by real aesthetes and highly erudite dentists, professionals who are truly in love with their work.
 
Welcoming remarks were given by Prof. Assoc. Tatiana L. SHEVELA, MD, PhD, Dean of the BGMU Faculty of Dentistry, and Prof. Larissa M. LOMIASHVILI, MD, PhD, Dean of the OSMU Faculty of Dentistry.
 
In total, over 300 participants, including doctors, PhD students, professors, and students, listened to lectures, discussed clinical cases and participated in master classes on the following topics:

  6. Prof. Assoc. Lyudmila L. ALEKSANDROVA, MD, PhD, «Modern approaches to the diagnosis of oral mucosal pathology» (BSMU)
  7. Prof. Assoc. Anna S. RUTKOVSKAYA, MD, PhD, «Biopsy in the diagnosis of the oral mucosa diseases» (BSMU)
 
Such large-scale events create the opportunity for specialists to expand the scope of cooperation, share the best practices, and plan future joint projects. Participants mastered their professional skills and knowledge on up-to-date technologies, and received plenty of positive emotions thanks to the friendly, creative, warm atmosphere of the event.
