The first online Conference “Manage Pain Digital” was held on the 18th of May, 2020. It was organized by Sechenov University. Its participants were the leading foreign and Russian health professionals.
The opening speech was made by Giustino VARRASSI, the President of World Institute of Pain (Italy). During the conference, various pain related topics were discussed, in particular, migraine and modern approaches to its treatment and prevention, backache, pain polyneuropathy, non-pharmaceutical pain management. The keynote speakers of the conference were from Moscow, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Altay, Omsk.
The Omsk State Medical University was represented by Prof. Alexey S. ROZHDESTVENSKY, Head of the Department of Neurology for Advanced Professional Training. He gave his lecture devoted to osteopathy, its organizational and clinical aspects.
Following the results of the conference, except for knowledge and experience, all participants have got some advice on pain management and access to the digital educational resources of “Manage Pain Personalized Project”.
