Omsk State Medical University will launch a Master's Degree Programme in Public Health from June 2021.
This Master’s Programme is designed for students who intend to pursue careers in public health practice, including disease prevention and health promotion of the nation. To be enrolled in a Master's Programme a Diploma confirming completed higher education (including non-medical specialties) is needed.
The duration of the Program is 2 years; a full-time education form. It includes 7 basic and 14 optional disciplines, 2 elective courses, and 4 clerkships.
The teaching staff includes specialists in the fields of public health and health care, epidemiology, hygiene, biostatistics, drug supply and pharmaceutical market, psychology, and also healthcare leaders at various levels, researchers, and clinicians.
Upon graduation the Master Program a graduate can deal with issues of disease prevention and health promotion, hold leadership positions in the healthcare, develop the normative documentation in this field, and conduct teaching and research work.
