1 February 2025 Russian award ceremony “Let's live” took place on the small stage of the State Kremlin Palace, where Roman E. PRIDVORNY, a 2-year master's student, became the winner in the nomination “Unique Medical Case”.
This award was established by the Russian Association for Cancer Care “Hello!” as part of World Cancer Day. This event annually unites doctors, medical institutions, patient communities, public figures, volunteers, journalists, as well as patients.
Each patient's story is unique and reveals the strength of the spirit, perseverance, and desire for life. The award is aimed at popularizing the achievements and efforts of those who fight daily for the health and quality of life of patients, as well as those who inspire by their example.
Roman E. PRIDVORNY runs a company that manufactures customized eye prostheses for patients from different regions of our country and neighboring countries.
“A positive attitude, the desire to do what you love, help other people, learn new things,” is, according to Roman, his formula for a happy life.
