During the II Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Boris Yeltsin hosted a Russian Higher Education Exhibition. Thirty universities from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kursk, Ufa, Nizhny Novgorod, and other cities presented their educational programs. High school students from Bishkek and the Chui region visited the Exhibition. The students had the opportunity to interact with university representatives and ask questions about their study conditions and student life.
Tatyana A. GANYAEVA, Head of the Career Guidance Sector of the OSMU Pre-University Training Center, presented general information about our University, its educational programs, admission requirements, and study requirements at the Exhibition. Tatyana A. GANYAEVA spoke with applicants, answered their questions, and gave a presentation about OSMU.
During the exhibition day, visitors to OSMU stand demonstrated a strong interest in Russian higher and secondary specialized medical education, as well as residency programs. While high school students inquired about entrance examinations and preparatory courses using distance learning, their parents inquired about the infrastructure of our University and Omsk in general. Thus, the exhibition helped many young Kyrgyz citizens decide on their specialty.
