Dear Students and Young Scientists,
On January 15, 2021, the first meeting of OSMU Scientific Society for Students and Young Researchers was held. Agenda included: the results of Literature Review Competition, a schedule development for future events of the Society, such as the workshops "PowerPoint Presentation Skills", "Poster Presentation Skills" and "Public Speaking", which will take place in the upcoming term.
We are pleased to announce that in March 2021, OSMU will be hosting the International Congress on Oncology, organized by the Department of Internal and Family Medicine (Postgraduate Course), headed by Prof. Assoc. Inna V. DRUK, where Scientific Society for Students and Young Researchers is to co-organize the Contest "Clinical Case Solving", aimed at demonstrating the skills in diagnosis and treatment strategies. This competition is a great opportunity not only to test yourself, but also to gain experience in collaboration and, apparently, to make novel relationships with other students who are interested in science just as much as you are! Students, residents, PhD students, and doctors under 30 are eligible to participate.
And the last but not least, an annual Spring Scientific Session for Students and Young Researchers will be held in April 2021, where young scientists from OSMU, as well as from other Omsk and Russian universities are welcomed for participation.
We wish you a fruitful year! May scientific achievements and intellectual feats accompany you! Dare to take risks and try your hand at different competitions, do not sit still, get out of your comfort zone!
