Every year on the third Sunday of June, Russia celebrates Medical Worker Day. On this occasion, a solemn ceremony of rewarding University employees for many years of conscientious work was held in the assembly hall of OSMU College.
A number of teaching staff, administration, and OSMU personnel were solemnly awarded the Honorary Diplomas of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Gratitude Letters from the Minister of the Health of the Russian Federation, Honorary Diplomas of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Gratitude Letters from the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, Honorary Diplomas of the Government of the Omsk Region, Gratitude Letters from the Governor of the Omsk Region, Honorary Diplomas of the OSMU Rector, and Honorary Diplomas of the Omsk Regional Organization of the trade union of healthcare workers of the Russian Federation.
Besides, in the framework of the ceremony Prof. Assoc. Elena. A. TEMNIKOVA, MD, PhD, Professor of the Internal Medicine (Out-Patient Setting) Department, Prof. Victor P. RODKIN, MD, PhD, Professor of the Occupational Health Department, Prof. Assoc. Alla N. SUDAKOVA, MD, PhD, Associate professor of the Internal Medicine (Intermediate Level) and Gastroenterology Department, and Prof. Assoc. Svetlana Z. TUMORINA, MD, PhD Associate professor of the Epidemiology Department were awarded the Bage “Excellent Worker of the Healthcare of the Omsk Region” for exemplary performance of official duties and active work in the field of healthcare.
Presentation of the awards was accompanied by warm words and congratulations, given by Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, OSMU Rector, Igor V. POPOV, Chairman of the Social Policy Committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, Ivan G. SHTEINBORM, First Vice-Rector of the OSMU, and Larisa V. LONSKAYA, Chairman of the OSMU Trade Union, and the concert prepared by the students of our University and College, laureates of Russian National and International Competitions.
