Anna SEDELNIKOVA, a third-year student of the Faculty of General Medicine, represented our university at the XVIII International Scientific Conference "The Role of Science in the Development of Society (Advanced Technologies, Life Sciences)." Anna presented the report entitled "Systematic approach at the initial stage of kickboxers' training" (scientific supervisor - Philip V. SALUGIN, PhD (in Pedagogy), Professor of the OSMU Department of Physical Culture). For her work, Anna awarded a winner's diploma.
In her study, Anna assessed a set of methods and principles for optimizing training for beginning kickboxers. The systematic approach proposed in the work is aimed at preventing injuries, improving physical performance, and building a solid foundation for further athletic growth. This topic lies at the intersection of medicine, sports physiology, and pedagogy, demonstrating the broad scientific horizons of the young researcher and her supervisor. The research will be published in a journal approved by the Higher Attestation Commission.
Participation in such a high-level conference is not only an opportunity to present the results of your work to the international scientific community, but also an experience that motivates you to pursue further research.
We congratulate Anna SEDELNIKOVA and Prof. Philip V. SALUGIN on their well-deserved award and wish them new scientific achievements!
