On July 18, 2024, the presentation of the Governor's Youth Award took place at the Government of the Omsk Region. The prestigious award is presented annually to six representatives of the largest public and educational regional organizations. This year, one of the laureates was Irina SIKHVARDT, graduate of the Pediatric Faculty of OSMU, Deputy Regional Coordinator of the Medical Volunteers.
During the meeting with the award winners, Vitaly P. KHOTSENKO, Governor of the Omsk Region, discussed youth initiatives with the participants. He noted that the government together with youth of the Omsk Region tries to initiate events to make it more interesting to study, progress, and develop the talents of the youth.
Medical Volunteers, with the active participation of Irina SIKHVARDT, are implementing important projects to prevent diseases, popularize a healthy lifestyle and blood donation, and holding first aid training for the population. Irina SIKHVARDT herself became the winner of the Rosmolodezh grant competition twice (project «Health Region 2.0» and «School of Future Parents «Family Academy»»). We congratulate Irina on her well-deserved high award and wish her further success!
