Second-year OSMU students demonstrated their high level of knowledge at the 3rd International Online Histology Olympiad "Digestive System".
This major intellectual competition was organized by the Histology Department of the Voronezh N.N. Burdenko State Medical University within the framework of the International Scientific Forum "Morphoclinical Aspects of Fundamental and Applied Research".
A distinctive feature of the Olympiad was its interactive format - it was conducted as the businesslike intellectual and educational game, requiring participants not only to have a deep knowledge of the structure and functions of the digestive system but also to demonstrate focus, logic, and the ability to make quick decisions. Despite the intense competition - over 300 participants from various medical universities – OSMU students achieved brilliant results. Six students were awarded 2nd- and 3rd-place diplomas, and seven students became the prizewinners in a creative competition for histological artistic drawing.
We congratulate the prizewinners and their supervisors on these significant achievements! These achievements are the clear statement of both their profound knowledge and creative approach to studying the discipline, as well as the high-quality education and great potential of the Omsk State Medical University.
