On June 26, ahead of Youth Day, the results of the National Youth Projects Competition for 2024 were announced. The competition was organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. A total of 15420 applications from all 89 regions of Russia were submitted. Several projects by OSMU students emerged as winners in the Rosmolodezh Grant Competition!

The civic-patriotic project «Healers of Victory», by Valeria BAIDALA, a 4th-year student of the OSMU Faculty of Pediatrics, aims to preserve the memory of medical professionals in military conflicts. It will create an educational environment for students to study wartime medical history, fostering patriotic feelings and pride. The project includes themed class hours, workshops, a flash mob, excursions, and a quiz for students. The grant support is 198,000 rubles.

The educational courses on first aid, «Don’t Let the Heart Stop», created by Kristina PRONINA, a 5th-year student of the OSMU Faculty of General Medicine, aim to increase first aid knowledge among students. The project will conduct intensive sessions covering first aid tactics for various emergency situations. After training, participants will engage in a «Test Yourself» battle and the final event, a first aid championship. The grant support for the project is 290000 rubles.

Additionally, a project by OSMU partners, the youth wing of the Manyakin Foundation, was supported. The project «Breathe the Air of Omsk Priirtyshye 2.0», authored by Anna ZHURBINA, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, focuses on promoting the health of children, youth, and specific population categories in the region under the national project «Demography» and the federal project «Strengthening Public Health».
