On February 2, Health Day took place as part of the Russian Economy Days at the International Exhibition-Forum «Russia». The event was attended by Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, OSMU Rector, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and OSMU students.
The opening was officiated by Mikhail A. MURASHKO, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, and Ekaterina G. PRIYEZHEVA, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
- At every booth, the Regions exhibit their industry accomplishments - crucial elements touching the lives of each person, every resident in our nation. This encompasses outpatient services, inpatient care, and advanced assistance. These are the advancements driving our Regions ahead, pioneering discoveries reshaping the medical frontier, - said Mikhail A. MURASHKO.
Educational sessions focused on medical care took place in each pavilion at the exhibition. The OSMU team «Siberian Help» represented the Omsk Region by conducting a series of workshops. 6th-year students, including Elena KRESTNIKOVA, Valeria SHILAEVA, Saveliy MAKAROV, and Ekaterina LISITSA, imparted essential skills to attendees, covering the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, managing external bleeding, and initiating trauma assessments following the ITLS protocol. Maria A. LIVZAN delivered a talk titled «Nutrition as a Key Element in Preserving the Health of Russia's Population».
As part of the business program of Health Day, meetings with leading industry experts took place at the exhibition. The platform hosted a plenary session titled «Healthcare in Russia: Achievements and Opportunities», an expert session «Application of AI Technologies in Healthcare», and roundtable discussions on providing quality and accessible medical care in sparsely populated cities and rural areas, corporate health with a focus on remote territories, and other events.
