On February 3, Omsk State Pedagogical University hosted a large-scale event uniting the students from Russia and abroad: the 13th Russian Scientific Forum "The Future of the Region is in the Hands of the Young." More than 200 students, supervisors, and experts from Russia, Kazakhstan, and India participated in the Forum. The event was organized by the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Management of Omsk State Pedagogical University. The program of the Forum included a research and applied project competition in collaboration with the Center for Advanced Professional Training.
Oksana A. GORDIENKO, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Omsk Region, and Natalia S. MAKAROVA, Rector of Omsk State Pedagogical University, welcomed the participants, inspiring young scientists to create real and relevant projects.
OSMU was represented by first-year students:
Jugran KARTIKAY (Faculty of General Medicine), with research project "Stress Level and Coping Mechanisms in Medical University Students." Section "Health Preservation and Ecology." Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Stepan G. CHUKHIN, PhD (in Pedagogy). The goal of the project is to study stress levels among OSMU students, identify the main factors contributing to increased stress, and develop effective mechanisms for psychological support and adaptation aimed at reducing the negative impact of stress on students' health and academic performance.
Maxim MYAGI (Faculty of Pharmacy) with applied project "Development of a Lesson-Game for Schoolchildren on the Topic: Children's Rights in the Russian Federation." Section "Education, Culture, and Art." Supervisor: Prof. Asst. Victoria G. FELDE, PhD (in Philosophy). The goal of the project is to conduct a professional trial run in the pedagogical field through extracurricular activities on "Children's Rights in the Russian Federation."
Dzhugran KARTIKAI won first place at the 13th Russian Scientific Forum "The Future of the Region is in the Hands of the Young."
