In a solemn atmosphere, the OSMU teachers and staff were given awards at the federal and regional levels for many years of impeccable work in the healthcare system, achievements in professional activities and in connection with the celebration of the Day of the Medical Worker. The activities of 48 people were recognized with certificates of honor from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and commendations from the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, letters of appreciation from the Legislative Assembly of the Omsk Region, certificates of honor from the Ministry of Health of the Omsk Region and commendations from the Minister of Health of the Omsk Region, and honorary diplomas from the OSMU Rector. The badge "Excellent Healthcare Worker of the Omsk region" of the Ministry of Health of the Omsk region was awarded to Assoc. Prof. Natalia A. POLYANSKAYA, MD, Dr Sci (in Medicine), Dean of the Pediatrics Faculty.
Lyudmila V. LUZYANINA, Director of the OSMU Scientific and Medical Library, was awarded the medal "For Impeccable Work and Distinction", and Vladimir D. ZHIKHAREV, PhD (in Philosophy), Assoc. Prof. of the Philosophy, Humanities and Social Sciences Department, Chairperson of the OSMU Council of Veterans, was given the badge "Honorary Worker of Education of the Russian Federation".
