Russian competition of student poster presentations on pediatric dentistry, organized by the OSMU Department of Pediatric Dentistry, ended in may. Students of pediatric and dental faculties of medical universities of the Russian Federation took part in the Competition.
54 student teams represented medical universities of Omsk, Ivanovo, Kirov, Izhevsk, and Samara. Online format of the Competition allowed to expand the geography of the competition and gave students from various regions of the Russian Federation the opportunity for participation. The competent jury of the Competition included teachers of dental and pediatric faculties of medical universities of the country. The participants of the Competition had to present poster presentations on current issues of pediatric dentistry, which are included in the working programs of the discipline, to the panel of judges.
As a result, interesting reports on various sections of pediatric dentistry were presented: prevention of dental diseases, preventive pediatric dentistry, pediatric maxillofacial surgery. In the result, teams from Kirov State Medical University, Izhevsk State Medical Academy and OSMU became the winners of the competition.
