Objective of the School is to provide an opportunity to specialists who face the issues of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), to get acquainted with new techniques of diagnosis and treatment of these diseases, with results of recent research in the field. In the end, practitioners will have a chance to get an idea of modern approaches to recovery of their patients’ health.
Prof. Vitaly OKHLOPKOV, MD, PhD, First Vice-Rector, Head of the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Cosmetology,
“Sexually Transmitted Infections are an interdisciplinary issue. IUSTI School is aimed at considering these infections from the perspective of different specialists”.
Prof. Mikhail GOMBERG, MD, PhD, President of Russian IUSTI Guild of STIs Specialists, chief research scientist of Moscow Scientific and Practical Center for Dermatology, Venereology and Cosmetology of Moscow Public Health Department,
“These infections can be faced by almost every physician but not every physician understands how to act properly in such a case. The main thing that we are trying to get across to our colleagues is that diagnosis and treatment should be unified. It does not matter which doctor performs treatment of a particular disease if he or she understands the world-wide rules and standards.
