On July 4, graduates of 3 OSMU Faculties received their Diplomas, including students from the Faculty of General Medicine, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Preventive Medicine.
A solemn ceremony for the 105th graduation of the Faculty of General Medicine was held at Omsk Concert Hall. An event was attended by mentors and teachers of graduates, staff of OSMU Departments and Administration. Representatives of the Ministry of Public Health of the Omsk Region and Omsk Hospitals have thanked OSMU for the excellent training of its students and expressed their hope for the recruitment of highly qualified doctors. Prof. Oleg I. LEBEDEV, MD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine, has also congratulated young specialists and wished them future professional successes.
In 2022, 272 graduates of the Faculty of General Medicine received their Diplomas, including 56 students who graduated with honors. Ekaterina SVYATOGOROVA, who graduated the Faculty with a 5.0 GPA, solemnly recited the doctor's oath, which was repeated by all graduates of the Faculty.
A solemn ceremony for the graduation of the Faculty of Pharmacy was attended by Ivan G. SHTEINBORM, First Vice-Rector, Prof. Assoc. Elena A. LUKSHA, PhD in Pharmacy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Analytical and Toxicological Chemistry, and Prof. Assoc. Ekaterina S. VASILEVSKAYA, PhD in Pharmacy, Head of the Department of Pharmacy.
This year, 31 students graduated as pharmacists, and 8 of them graduated with honors. After receiving Diplomas, all graduates of the Faculty recited the oath of a pharmacist.
A solemn ceremony for the 80th graduation of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine took place at the Building of the Faculty for Preventive Medicine. 62 students have received their Diplomas. Prof. Vladimir L. STASENKO, MD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, congratulated graduates.
The Heads of the Faculty's Departments, mentors and teachers congratulated graduates and their parents on such an important event and wished young specialists future career success and achievements. In response, graduates thanked the teaching staff for their time, endless patience and priceless hard work.
