The Academic Forum of Young Scientists of Greater Eurasia «Continent of Science»

 
From November 1 to 4, the Academic Forum of Young Scientists of Greater Eurasia «Continent of Science» took place at the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow. This event was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and was organized in collaboration with the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the International Association of Academies of Sciences.
 
In 2022, under the theme «Science without Borders», the Forum became a significant event for young researchers, contributing to the strengthening of scientific connections among the young people of CIS countries. In 2023, the Forum expanded its reach, attracting young scientists from a diverse array of countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. The Forum aims at providing a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue within the Eurasian partnership.
 
On November 2, the opening day of the Forum, prominent scientists and influential figures in Russian science delivered their welcoming remarks, including G. Ya. KRASNIKOV, President of RAS; A. A. FURSENKO, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation; V. N. FALKOV, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation; A.A. PANKIN, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation; L. S. GUMEROVA, Chairperson of the Committee of the Federation Council on Science, Education, and Culture of the Russian Federation; S. N. LEBEDEV, Secretary-General of the CIS; M. V. MYASNIKOVICH, Chairperson of the Eurasian Economic Commission; P. A. VITYAZ, Deputy Head of the International Association of Academies of Sciences; B. S. YULDASHEV, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan; D. N. BILYALOV, Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan; A. V. TORKUNOV, Rector of MGIMO University; A. O. CHUBARYAN, Scientific Director of the Institute of Universal History of RAS, President of State Academic University for the Humanities, Academician of RAS.
 
Following the solemn opening, participants presented their research work across various scientific domains, including artificial intelligence, physics, chemistry, health of the future generations, biosecurity and food safety, and heritage preservation.
 
In the «Health of the Future Generations» section, OSMU was represented by Andrey S. KORSHUNOV, DMD, PhD, Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Dentistry, including Postgraduate Training Courses, and Kirill N. KURYATNIKOV, DMD, Prof. Asst. of the Department of Dentistry, including Postgraduate Training Courses. The Expert Commission conferred an honorary second place to Assoc. Prof. Andrey S. KORSHUNOV for his work, which was conducted under the guidance of Vladimir D. VAGNER, DMD, PhD, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Prof. of the Department of Dentistry, including Postgraduate Training Courses.
