The End of the Visit of the Delegation from Osh State University 

 
On their last day in Omsk, the Delegation from Osh State University (OshSU) visited the Department of Normal Physiology. Prof. Vladimir V. RUSAKOV, MD, PhD, Head of the aforenamed Department, and other professors of the Department told about the educational materials for fundamental disciplines, material and technical facilities, introduction of IT technologies into the educational process, research work, career guidance events for applicants; they also arranged a short excursion around the museum of the department.
 
During their stay within the walls of OSMU, Aynura T. TURSUNBAEVA, Chairperson of the Academic Affairs and Didactics Council, and Dinara Zh. ZHOOBASAROVA, Deputy Dean for International Relations, had visited the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, including Postgraduate Training Course, the Department of Internal Medicine (Advanced Level) and Endocrinology, the Department of Pharmaceutical, Analytical and Toxicological Chemistry and its research laboratories, where they got acquainted with the material, technical, and educational facilities and practical skills developed by students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The issues of networking cooperation and developing academic mobility of students were discussed as the part of the strategy for further cooperation in the field of pharmacy.
 
The delegates also met Prof. Oleg I. LEBEDEV, MD, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine, Assoc. Prof. Elena A. LUKSHA, PhD (in Pharmacy), Dean of the Pharmacy Faculty, and Vice-Rectors. At a meeting with Prof. Maria A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, Acting Rector of OSMU, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, colleagues from OshSU discussed the issues of cooperation in the field of academic mobility, implementation of educational network training programs, and exchange of experience.
 
Representatives of OshSU also visited the Skills Center of OSMU, where they learnt about its activities in conducting accreditation for doctors and implementing educational programs for university students.
 
In their turn, the guests noted the hospitality and attention shown to OshSU students, who began their studies at the General Medicine Faculty with the start of the new academic semester. «After visiting OsMU, we have plans to implement short-term mobility. We’ve also planned to see the entire accreditation process in the Skills Center in the near future» - said Dinara Zh. ZHOOBASAROVA. Aynura T. TURSUNBAEVA added that the cooperation of our universities will take new development after the visit to OSMU, and the plans will be implemented at the beginning of the next academic year.
