On November 24, the final of the competition of the Fund for Assistance to the Development of Small Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Field “UMNIK-2023” took place, held by the Omsk Scientific and Educational Center.
This year, 61 applications were submitted to the regional stage; twenty-nine participants competed in the semifinals, where the scientific and technical components of the projects were considered.
The winners of this year’s final were nine people, including three students from our University 5th year student of the Pediatrics Faculty Sofya IVANOVA - project “Development of a new cognitive-manual simulator” (scientific supervisor - Prof. Vadim A. AKHMEDOV, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation (Postgraduate Course)), 1st year resident of the Ophthalmology Department Elizaveta MOSHCHENSKAYA - project “Development of an electronic medical assistant using artificial intelligence to support medical decision-making” (scientific supervisor - Alexander V. SUROV, MD, PhD, Assoc. Prof. of Ophthalmology Department), 2nd year resident of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 Natalya Tsyunik - project “Development of a computer program for identifying the causes of miscarriage” (scientific supervisor - Assoc. Prof. Irina V. MEDYANNIKOVA, MD, PhD, professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1). We congratulate them on winning the final stage, and after the final approval of the results of the competition by the Foundation’s management, we wish them the successful implementation of all projects for the benefit of domestic healthcare!
After the results of the final are approved by the expert council and the competition commission of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere, the winners will receive grants in the amount of 500 thousand rubles.
