From November 10 to 12, 2020, Medical Volunteers held the First Medical Volunteer e-School.
The First Medical Volunteer e-School attracted more than 200 participants, including schoolchildren, students of OSMU, OSMU College, Omsk Regional Medical College, Omsk Medical College of Railway Transport, and Omsk State Pedagogical University.
The program of the School consisted of a series of webinars on each branch of the medical volunteer movement. Attendees were engaged in the discussion, and the most active participants received certificates.
“Even though medical volunteers are working a lot during the pandemic, we have decided not to postpone the event. It is important for us to share our experience, and we plan to hold new meetings with potential volunteers in the future”, – says Irina SIKHVARD, a regional project coordinator of Medical Volunteers.
Today, over 500 Medical Volunteers help regional healthcare in Omsk Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics, as well as in the Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Public Health of the Omsk Region, at the hotlines, and the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology.
