The International Conference «Professionals Are Made, Not Born» became a significant event for dental students. Within the Conference, the XX International Contest of Professional Skills took place, where students from the 3rd and 4th years presented their works in restorative dentistry.
The Conference was organized by the Department of Dentistry and Orthodontics of S.I. Georgievsky Medical Institute (part of V.I. Vernadsky Crimea Federal University), under the leadership of Prof. Svetlana A. DEMYANENKO.
Students from various regions of Russia and abroad participated in the Conference, representing cities such as Omsk, Ufa, Simferopol, Kirov, Minsk, and Tashkent. Daniela LOPATINA, Vasilisa SHCHUKINA, Anastasia MAKSIMENKO, 4th-year students of the OSMU Faculty of Dentistry, and Darya KURNIKOVA, 3rd-year student of the OSMU Faculty of Dentistry, showcased their scientific achievements.
Darya KURNIKOVA earned first place, Anastasia MAKSIMENKO secured second place in the «Best Scientific Report» category, Daniela LOPATINA achieved first place in the «Professional Skill» category for tooth restoration, and Vasilisa SHCHUKINA received second place in the «Best Presentation Design» category.
