
On March 28-29, Omsk hosted the Interregional Scientific Conference "Burning Issues of Hematology", organized by the Ministry of Health of the Omsk Region, Omsk Regional Clinical Hospital and OSMU.
The Conference was attended by researchers and doctors working in the field of hematology, transfusion medicine and oncology. During the conference, they heard twenty-two reports on current trends in the diagnosis and therapy of immune thrombocytopenia, the possibilities of hemostasis correction, modern approaches to the treatment of lymphoproliferative diseases, as well as modern ideas about the diagnosis and therapy of chronic myeloid neoplasms, modern approaches to the treatment of multiple myeloma, and much more from leading experts from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Omsk.
Our university was represented at the conference by Prof. Natalia A. MOROVA, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine (Advanced Level) and Endocrinology. Prof. Natalia A. MOROVA talked about joint syndrome in diseases of the blood system, and Marina A. PANEVA, MD, PhD, Assoc. prof. of the forenamed Department, made three reports: on the use of erythropoietin-containing drugs in therapeutic practice, about modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of iron deficiency conditions and about immunoglobulins.
The Conference was held in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere with the possibility of discussion after each report and an exchange of experience between federal and regional experts. The issues discussed during the Conference will make it possible to further improve the professional knowledge and skills of both scientists and practitioners.
