On March 10-13, 2023, the XXX National Congress «A Man and a Cure», one of the oldest and biggest events for healthcare professionals, took place in Moscow.
The Congress was aimed at putting the spotlight on the best research of promising young doctors and scientists. Participants presented their reports in the framework of the VII Congress of Young General Practitioners. Prof. M. A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, OSMU Rector, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, chaired the Jury Panel for the «Gastroenterology» section of the competition.
In the finals of the competitions, OSMU was represented by Tatiana S. KROLEVETS, MD, PhD, Prof. Assoc. of the Department of Internal Medicine (Intermediate Level) and Gastroenterology, with her report entitled «Formation of hepatic fibrosis in NAFLD: role of adipokines and intestinal barrier state», and Maria N. PARYGINA, Prof. Asst. of the Department of Morbid Anatomy, with her report entitled «Immunohistochemical study with a small amount of biopsy material as a diagnostic tool for chronic atrophic gastritis». Based on the results of the competition and the lively discussion, Maria N. PARYGINA was awarded the 1st Degree Diploma, and Tatiana S. KROLEVETS received the 2nd Degree Diploma.
