The Kyrgyz-Russian Educational Forum

The Kyrgyz-Russian Educational Forum took place in Bishkek, bringing together prominent representatives of the scientific community. The event took place at several universities across Kyrgyzstan, including I. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, serving as a key platform for discussing healthcare collaborations and the development of joint educational and research programs. Healthcare and medical education specialists attended the Forum. Assoc. Prof. Irina A. SAVCHENKO, PhD in Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical, Analytical, and Toxicological Chemistry, represented OSMU.

One of the Forum's highlights was the signing of several agreements aimed at advancing education and science. Particular attention was given to the establishment of a Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Medical Universities. This Consortium's goal is to coordinate scientific research and share knowledge in the field of medicine.
As a result of the Forum, a resolution was signed recommending the creation of an international research group to study the natural resources of the Omsk Region and Kyrgyzstan, initiate pharmacognostic research, and develop educational programs for training specialists. It was also proposed to hold conferences on the development of medicines based on natural ingredients.

Moreover, the parties agreed to form the Russian-Kyrgyz Scientific Consortium in Medicine, which will coordinate research on new methods of disease treatment and diagnosis, as well as support the development of innovative medical technologies. Plans are also underway to design joint educational and research programs, including postgraduate, master's, and professional development courses to train specialists in the medical field. These programs aim to enhance the scientific competence of young professionals and engage them in international projects. To foster cooperation in medical science, regular scientific symposia and conferences will be held on relevant medical topics, such as chronic diseases, infectious diseases, oncology, and other priority areas.
The meeting concluded with a closing ceremony, during which participants expressed confidence that the agreements would be implemented, and collaboration between Russian and Kyrgyz medical universities would yield significant results in the near future.
