The National Conference «Transformation of Medical and Pharmaceutical Education» took place on November 30th.
The event served as an invitation to engage leading experts in medicine and pharmacy, organizations within the national education system, and representatives of regional authorities in dialogue. The conference delved into major changes in higher medical education, pinpointing growth areas requiring collaborative efforts for successful transformation. The event aimed at uniting forces to transform all elements of medical education.
The conference took place online and attracted a diverse audience, including representatives from medical universities in Kazan, Tomsk, Samara, Perm, Krasnodar, and Omsk.
Presented reports covered various aspects of medical education. Some presentation titles included «International Students on Medical Education in Russia: Results of a Nationwide Survey», «Transformational Processes in Higher Medical Education», «Model of Higher Medical Education», and «Formation of Communicative Skills in a Doctor as One of the Challenges of Higher Medical Education».
OSMU was represented by Assoc. Prof. Ekaterina S. VASILEVSKAYA, PhD in Pharmacy, Head of the Academic Affairs and Didactics Department, and Head of the OSMU Department of Pharmacy. Her presentation focused on violations of legislative requirements in education. In conclusion, she suggested measures for preventing violations in education in the Russian Federation.
