On April 11, Botirjon Z. ASADOV, Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation, paid a working visit to our University.
During the visit, he met OSMU administration and Uzbek students studying at Omsk universities, including OSMU. The delegation also included Mehriddin A. KHAYRIDDINOV, Consul General of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation, Aslam A. AKBAROV, Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, and Bobur K. KARIMOV, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the participants of the foreign delegation and accompanying persons took a tour in the OSMU main building, visiting the youth space and meeting representatives of the Omsk branch of the Medical Volunteers and the OSMU emergency team “Siberian Help”.
Then OSMU administration organized a round-table meeting with students from Uzbekistan. The communication took place in the format of a dialogue, Uzbek students were able to directly ask Botirjon Z. ASADOV their questions. They were interested in the possibility of nostrification of the Russian diploma, the provision of support from the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan to young specialists and other issues. In turn, Botirjon Z. ASADOV recalled the need to comply with the laws on the territory of the Russian Federation. At the end of the meeting, he thanked the OSMU administration for organizing this important event and the opportunity to communicate with the younger generation of compatriots.
