On October 9, 2023, the traditional «Dentistry» Conference Section took place in the Far-Eastern State Medical University (FESMU) within the framework of the VII Far-Eastern Medical Youth Forum with international participation.
This year, the Conference brought together students from different regions of Russia (including Khabarovsk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Moscow, Chita) and abroad (Tashkent and Samarkand, Uzbekistan), who took part in the scientific work competition. The conference was held in a mixed format, which allowed all the representatives of the dental community from other regions and countries to participate in the forum.
Students from the Faculty of Dentistry of OSMU also took part in the Conference. Artem A. IVKIN, the 5th-year student of the Faculty of Dentistry, presented the results of his scientific research. His work «Clinical and laboratory changes in the dental status of adolescents due to the use of toothpastes with anti-inflammatory effect on periodontal tissue» supervised by Albina Zh. GARIFULLINA, Assoc. Prof. of the Pediatric Dentistry Department, and Anna P. SOLONENKO, Head of the Research Laboratory of the Dentistry Faculty, took the 3rd place.
