On April 20, 2023, the V International Student Olympiad on Medical Rehabilitation and Sanatorium-Resort Care took place in Moscow.
OSMU team «Recovery Team» was represented by Artem V. MARIIN, Elizaveta A. KIRKH, Elena A. TEMEREVA, Elizaveta V. NIKONENKO, and Kristina A. MARTIROSYAN. The team showed a great result and was awarded the I Place Diploma!
On April 21, the V International Scientific Conference for Students and Young Scientists «Modern Aspects of Medical Rehabilitation and Sanatorium-Resort Care» provided a platform for our students and residents to present their recent research.
Viktoria A. VOYAT received the I Place Diploma for her report entitled «Efficacy of kinesio taping as a conservative method for treating Osgood-Schlatter syndrome in athletes», presented in the «Medical rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort care for children and adolescents» section. Scientific advisor: Inna A. LAVRINENKO, MD, PhD, Prof. Assoc. of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation (Postgraduate Course).
Lyudmila A. MIKHEDOVA was awarded the I Place Diploma in the «Physiotherapy and reflexotherapy in medical rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort care» section for her report entitled «High-intensity magnetic therapy in hip arthroplasty rehabilitation», supervised by Prof. Vadim A. AKHMEDOV, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation (Postgraduate Course).
Alexey S. FEDORENKO received the II Place Diploma for his report «Rational use of resonance acoustic programming in the complex rehabilitation of patients with myofascial pain syndrome» in the «Physiotherapy and reflexotherapy in medical rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort care» section.
