From August 6th to 9th, 2023, the VII National Forum for Medical Volunteers took place in Moscow. The event brought together 300 volunteers from our country! Welcoming remarks were delivered by V. V. PUTIN, President of the Russian Federation, and M. A. MURASHKO, Minister of Public Health of the Russian Federation. The solemn ceremony was attended by T. V. SEMENOVA, Deputy Minister of Public Health of the Russian Federation.
OSMU was represented by Daria IGNATCHIK, Coordinator of the «Volunteer Assistance in Medical Organizations» Branch, Georgiy PETROSYAN, Coordinator of the «Healthy Lifestyle» Branch, and Danil LOGINOV, Coordinator of the «Preventive Health Education» Branch. The comprehensive Forum agenda was dedicated to advancing regional and local branches. The business and educational segments addressed the most pressing challenges of our time and set the course for the development of medical volunteering.
Moreover, the Forum hosted the Grant Competition by Rosmolodezh (Russian Youth), in which Danil LOGINOV became the winner with his project entitled «Preventive Dictation: Healthy Question»! The grant support amounted to 170,000 rubles. The project envisions a series of lectures on the fundamentals of preventing socially significant diseases, along with tests featuring single or multiple-choice answers. These events will take place at the Medical Volunteers Offices, established within the Universities of the Omsk Region. Participants with the highest scores will receive Diplomas and commemorative gifts.
