On September 23-24, 2023, the XI International Forum of Pediatric Dentistry was held in Moscow as part of the Dental-Expo 2023 exhibition, at which leading speakers of the Russian and global medical community discussed the key trends and prospects of modern pediatric dentistry.
OSMU was represented by Prof. Galina I. SKRIPKINA, MD, PhD, Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Department. She played the role of the speaker and chairman of the international competition of scientific works “Pediatric Dentistry through the Eyes of Young People”. The day before, as part of the Forum, a traditional international competition of scientific works of young scientists and students was held on the online platform. According to the results of the competition, the winner of the student scientific research section was Artyom A. IVKIN, the student of the Dentistry Faculty of OSMU. He studied the influence of preventive measures on the mineral metabolism in the oral cavity on the basis of the Research Laboratory of the Dentistry Faculty (RLDF). The scientific supervisors of the study are Albina Zh. GARIFULLINA, MD, PhD, Prof. Assoc. of the Pediatric Dentistry Department, and Аnna P. SOLONENKO, PhD, Head of the Research Laboratory of the Dentistry Faculty (RLDF).
