On March 13-14, 2024, the in-person stage of the XVIII National Competition of Talented Youth «National Heritage of Russia» took place at the Cosmos Hotel Congress Hall in Moscow. This year's event commemorates the 190th anniversary of the birth of Dmitri I. MENDELEEV.
The primary aim of the event is to involve young individuals in independent research, develop scientific methodologies, organize education in universities, and facilitate the exchange of information among experts.
After the competition sessions, D.M. BENDYUKOV, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Dentistry, received the First Degree Diploma and the Medal «For the Best Scientific Student Work» in the «Chemistry» category. In the «Medicine, Healthy Lifestyle» category, the winner was D.R. BEKMURZAEV, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of Dentistry, who was awarded the Winner's Diploma and the Silver Badge «National Heritage of Russia». Both works were supervised by Kirill N. Kuryatnikov, Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Dentistry, including Postgraduate Training Courses. Kirill N. KURYATNIKOV was honored with the Gold Badge «National Heritage of Russia».
A.S. KORSHUNOV, DMD, PhD, Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Dentistry, including Postgraduate Training Courses, joined the Expert Council in the «Medicine, Healthy Lifestyle» section. A.S. KORSHUNOV received the Gold Badge «Youth, Science, Culture» for his contributions to attracting young people to science and preserving the intellectual potential of Russia.
Prof. M.A. LIVZAN, MD, PhD, a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was recognized for the achievements of OSMU representatives in the XVIII National Competition of Talented Youth «National Heritage of Russia».
