On December 2, Omsk hosted the Second National Conference «Immunology and Pulmonology Through the Lens of a Transdisciplinary Approach».
The event brought together leading experts in allergology and immunology, pulmonology, and pediatrics from prestigious institutions, including the Research Clinical Institute of the State Research Center «Institute of Immunology» (FMBA of Russia), the Research Clinical Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery named after Academician Yu. E. Veltishchev of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, Professor V. F. Voino-Yasenetsky Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, the Institute of Internal Medicine and Instrumental Diagnostics of the Pacific State Medical University, Novosibirsk State Medical University, and Stavropol State Medical University. A significant role in the organization and scientific vision of the Conference was played by OSMU, whose teaching staff served as the primary driving force behind the event.
The scientific program included presentations on critical issues in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of allergic and immunopathological conditions, as well as respiratory diseases. Discussions highlighted the latest medical technologies, pharmacological support in modern clinical practice, innovations in healthcare organization, and approaches to managing comorbidities.
Now in its third iteration, the Conference has established itself as an effective platform for dialogue between science, education, and practical healthcare. By covering a wide array of current challenges, it not only updated the professional knowledge of participants but also outlined specific strategies for enhancing care for patients with immunological and respiratory disorders.
