On May 18, 2023, as part of the "Week of Preventive Medicine" events, the staff of the Public Health Department of Sechenov University held the full-time round of the Russian National Student Olympiad "Management and Leadership in Healthcare-2023".
In total, students from 30 educational organizations from different regions of our country participated in the Olympiad. 22 students arrived for the full-time round of the Olympiad.
The qualifying round was held online by remotely solving test tasks on a computer. Meanwhile, the second tour was held at the University and consisted of three parts: theoretical task, case-solving, and assessment of the practical skills.
OSMU was represented by the 4th year students of the Pediatric Faculty: Maria A. KRASOVSKAYA, Kristina S. PETRUSHKINA, and Alexandra A. FILIPPOVA. All of the students did a great job: they showed excellent knowledge of medical legislation, and issues of medical management, and demonstrated the skills and abilities of a leader in a medical organization.
As a result, in the specialty "Pediatrics" Maria A. KRASOVSKAYA became the winner of the Olympiad taking the Ist Honored place and Alexandra A. FILIPPOVA took the III Honored place.
