Two thousand winners announced in the «Student Startup» Сompetition of the Federal Project «University Technology Entrepreneurship Platform» for 2024.
The Federal Project «University Technology Entrepreneurship Platform» has identified 2000 winners in the «Student Startup» competition for 2024. This project, implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia since 2022, aims to unlock the entrepreneurial potential of young people, create conditions for supporting talented youth, promote professional growth in high-tech business, and establish a comprehensive ecosystem of technological entrepreneurship based in Russian universities.
In the Omsk Region, 16 projects received support, including two participants from OSMU:
Nikolay V. CHUMICHKIN, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Dentistry, with the project «Creation of Innovative Caries-Preventive Gel Compositions» (Scientific Advisor: Assoc. Prof. Galina I. SKRIPKINA, DMD, PhD, Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry).
Irina A. RYLSKAYA, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics, with the project «Development of Aromatherapy Technology for Olfactory Recovery» (Scientific Advisor: Assoc. Prof. Sergey I. MOZGOVOY, MD, PhD, Professor of the Department of Morbid Anatomy).
The selection of student applications was conducted in several stages, including online presentations. The expert jury comprised representatives from the business community, universities, scientific organizations, accelerators, and other operators of the federal project. They assessed the technological innovation, market potential, competitiveness, and qualifications of the projects.
