Within the framework of World AIDS Day, Medical Volunteers arrange a broadcast devoted to HIV. World AIDS Day, designated on December 1, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease.
A lot of governmental, public and medical organizations around the world hold educational and diagnostic events during this day. Medical Volunteers, the students of the Preventive Medicine Faculty, cannot afford to stand back, because the work within Stop HIV/AIDS Campaign is one of priority areas.
On World AIDS Day Medical Volunteers have explained what HIV infection is and how it is transmitted; have dispelled the myths about the virus; and have answered the numerous questions.
