The World Science Day for Peace and Development has been celebrated worldwide each year on 10 November since 2002 under UNESCO auspices. This Day highlights the important role of science in society and the need to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues. It also underlines the importance and relevance of science in our daily lives.
Scientific discoveries and intellectual activity have always been the basis and driving force for the successful development of the country. On this day, with the participation of UNESCO, different kinds of events, including lectures, roundtables, seminars, and museum exhibitions, are held around the world. The events aim to bring scientists from different countries together to address the global challenges of our time.
