On February 1, 2019 there was the task meeting of OSMU Rector Maria A. LIVZAN, the Minister of Public Health in Omsk Region Dmitry M. VYUSHKOV, and the Chairman of the Committee for Social Рolicy of the Legislative Assembly in Omsk Region Vadim G. BEREZHNOY. The meeting was devoted to the role of OSMU in human resourcing of the region.
Maria A. LIVZAN told that through collaborative work with the Ministry of Public Health in Russia they managed to provide the Simulation Training Center with modern equipment, thus making it possible to train students and accredit doctors of all specialties in it. “As a matter of fact, we’re rising to the world standards of specialists’ training, when complicated medical operations are first performed on training devices”, she noted.
The main part of the meeting was held in the Simulation Training Center. Guests didn’t only have a look at training devices but performed some subcutaneous operations themselves. Dmitry M. YUSHKOV said that close cooperation of the region’s practical healthcare with one of the leading medical universities in the country will be consistently developing.
