Prof. of the Department of Pediatrics (Advanced Level), including Postgraduate Training Courses,
at the invitation of the leadership and colleagues from Xinjiang Medical University visited Urumqi to participate in the International Scientific Conference on Medicine and Public Health «China (Xinjiang) - Central Asia». This Conference was held within the framework of the Belt and Road initiative between China and the countries of Central Asia in the field of healthcare, as well as the dynamic development of the «Silk Road of Health» program
The report by Prof. Vadim A. AKHMEDOV «Gut Microbiota and Insomnia: Is There a Connection?» was highly esteemed by the Conference organizing committee and included in the plenary session.
Under the subject «Joining Efforts to Collaborate on Disease Treatment and Health Maintaining for a Better Future», the Conference featured discussions on advanced academic topics in the field of new treatment methods for various diseases and preventive approaches to health maintenance, technological innovations, and mechanisms for cross-border medical cooperation. The program of the Conference also included consultations on the establishment of a China-Central Asia consortium for cooperation on diseases and health to facilitate the regional exchange of medical resources and joint innovation.
The event brought together over 500 leading experts and researchers in the fields of medical education, science, and technology, representing China, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Germany, France, and many others. New models and mechanisms for cross-border cooperation in healthcare, medical education, joint research, and the implementation of new technologies were discussed.
