1. Effective using of OSMU research potential to conduct   research in the main scientific areas of the University approved by the Academic Council;

2. Development of fundamental research in compliance with fields of study in OSMU as the basis for establishing and developing scientific schools and the academic staff, improving the quality of training and advanced training of the academic staff;

3. Development of scientific and technical cooperation with universities, research and medical organizations, enterprises and companies, and foreign partners to strengthen the integration processes in education, science and to increase the efficacy of educational and research activities;

4. Support and development of students’ scientific work and using the results in the educational process.
