Research

Current trend in scientific research:
1. Development of the technique for early diagnosis of intestinal type gastric cancer based on an individual human genetic passport (a personification for prevention of gastric cancer).
2. Molecular and cellular basics for personalized cancer prevention: molecular profiling, detection of tissue patterns for prediction the risk of gastric cancer.
3. Detection of the tissue patterns, their immunohistochemical signatures, and biomarkers of inflammation in the gastric mucosa as a system for personalized prediction of sporadic cancer.

The Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation has approved a new medical technology «Molecular and genetic method of prognosis and pathomorphological monitoring of the risk of development of the intestinal type of gastric cancer in Helicobacter pylori infection» (FS No. 2010/220 dated June 10, 2010).
