The study is carried out in the following areas:
1. Scientific rationale of hygienic principles for public health improvement and for functional capabilities of the organism.
2. Development and update of the regional programs for epidemiological surveillance and social and hygienic monitoring for public health management.
3. Social and hygienic aspects of public health and improvement of the health care system in the Omsk Region.
4. Epidemiological and hygienic aspects of public nutrition for preventing the socially significant diseases.
