On August 23, the opening ceremony of the long-awaited IV Online International Summer Medical School “Reproductive Health of Adolescents”was held at the Omsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
Oleg Yu. GORBUNOV, Head Physician of the Omsk Regional Children's Hospital, Professor Zhan Ming Yu, Director of the International Education College of Harbin Medical University and Professor Andrey V. PISKLAKOV, Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, addressed the participants with the welcoming speeches and wished them good luck and fruitful work during this busy week.

The first day of the Summer School set the bar high for the volunteers and fueled the interest of all participants, so the second day was no less welcome!
Students took part in the lectures of Professor Andrey V. PISKLAKOV and Prof. Assoc. Natalia I. PAVLENKO, and during the practical class, they were able to move to the virtual operating theater!

The third day of the Summer School mainly included practical classes, which allowed the participants to be actively involved into the studying process.
Professor Andrey V. PISKLAKOV demonstrated the video recording of the surgery, so the audience could kind of attend it. Then Prof. Assoc. Natalia I. PAVLENKO presented both a lecture and a practical class on precocious puberty and thereby consolidated the theoretical material into the students’ minds.

The fourth day of the Summer School combined lectures and practical classes, which once again allowed participants to feel themselves in the role of doctors and try their hand at case solving.
At the practical class of Prof. Assoc. Natalia I. PAVLENKO, the participants analyzed another form of sexual development disorder in children - delayed puberty. In addition to case solving, the participants had a lecture by Prof. Andrey V. PISKLAKOV devoted to the anomalies of the female genital system.

The fifth (and the last) day of the Summer School was not that easy. Completing the theoretical part of the program, Prof. Andrey V. PISKLAKOV gave a lecture on emergencies in pediatric andrology. Then participants were presented with three clinical cases on the anomalies of the female reproductive tract, which allowed them to refresh and consolidate the knowledge they had received the day before.
