Current trends:
1. Clinical and pharmacological justification for the development, implementation, and improvement of the antimicrobial drugs register in hospitals and outpatient departments of Omsk Region.
2. Pharmacological regulation of connective tissue growth.
3. Drug safety monitoring and quality assessment of pharmacotherapy in the city of Omsk and Omsk Region.
4. Investigation of spontaneous and induced genotoxicity by DNA comet assay and the development of methods for drug-induced protection.
5. Pharmacoeconomic studies as a prerequisite for the introduction of amendments into a drug purchase application.

Objective: Improving the drug supply of the treatment process by:
- in-depth study of key problems of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy;
- acquaintance with the real needs of healthcare and pharmacy;
- highlighting the prospects for the creation of new drugs for the treatment and prevention of topical diseases;
- assistance to practical health care and pharmacy in organizing paramedical, nursing, and pharmacist conferences on topical issues of pharmacology.
