The Department of Advanced Training of mid-grade medical and pharmaceutical staff was founded in 1989. Twelve thousand specialists have been already trained at this Department. The area of activity is to ensure the quality of postgraduate education based on the preservation of its conformity to relevant and prospective needs of a person, society or state.
The advanced training system is intended to provide constant increase in qualification level of the staff in accordance with changing working and social conditions. It is necessary to note that the activity of the Department is carried out in the context of increasingly stringent requirements for professionalism and competence of specialists. This makes teaching a complex task that can be fulfilled only by highly qualified academic staff and practical public health specialists.
The Department is headed by Deputy Director for Advanced Training Marina M. KARDAYEVA.
The training of professionals is conducted in compliance with the requirements of educational standards of postgraduate education in specialties of Pharmacy, Nursing, Laboratory Diagnostics and General Medicine.
